Paul Henry Aron Retired IT professional who enjoyed travel and fine cuisine, 72 Paul Henry Aron, 72, died at The Center for Hope Hospice on May 4, 2015. The family will be receiving visitors at 2022 Parkwood Drive in Scotch Plains, N.J., from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, May 6 and 7. A memorial service for Paul will be held at Temple Sholom in Scotch Plains at a future date. Paul was born on July 10, 1942, to Anne and Asher Aron and lived in New Jersey for much of his life. He resided in Scotch Plains for the past 36 years. He graduated from Rutgers University and did graduate work at Columbia University and The New School. After serving in the United States Air Force, Paul pursued a professional career in information technology. He retired in 2004 as a computer architect for Citibank, N.A. Jointly with several colleagues, Paul was awarded a patent in 2001 for a global financial services integration system. Paul enjoyed traveling, photography, automobiles, and gourmet cuisine. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Helen; godchildren, numerous cousins and friends. Donations in Paul's memory may be made to The Pilcrow Foundation, 343 E.
