EDGAR CAISON Obituary

EDGAR LEE CAISON SR.

Mr. Edgar Lee Caison Sr. age 89 of Supply died Tuesday February 26, 2013 at SECU Hospice House in Bolivia.

Mr. Caison was born in Brunswick County on August 24, 1923 and was the son of the late James and Ethel Cheers Caison. He was preceded in death by his wife Letha Robinson Caison, his son, Edgar Lee Caison Jr., grandson, Timothy Caison, two brothers, Goley Caison and Rudolph Caison, a sister, Beatrice Caison Ludlum. He was Tug Boat Captain with International Paper Company for many years.

He is survived by three brothers, James E. Caison of Supply, Thomas Caison of Shallotte, Linsey Caison of Denton, NC; a sister, Mary Jane Caison Hewett of Supply; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday March 1, 2013 at 2pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Gerald Kirby and Reverend Tuddie Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Jeffrey Caison, Dewayne Varnam, Danny Fulford, Larry DeStefano Jr., John Perry Robinson, Phillip Robinson.

The family will receive friends at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Friday one hour prior to the service.
