Linda was such an inspiration and it was a pleasure to know her. Her courage taught so many how to enjoy life to the fullest. Her smile and laugh was infectious and I will remember that and pass it forward to others. I think Linda would like to be remembered that way. My heart goes out to you, Joe, and family.

Joe, I did so hate to hear of Linda's death. Linda has been an inspiration to me. She fought so hard with such dignity. She is a role model to me as I navigate through the rough waters she has already passed through. You know that I can totaly relate to what she has gone through. You both have been through so much. I pray that you find peace and comfort through your family and your faith during this difficult time.

Tiffany and Joe, I am so sorry to hear about Linda. She is not in anymore pain now. I know you both will miss her very much, but she is in a much better place now. I wish I could be there with you, but under the circumstances with me, I don't think I am able to drive up to North Carolina by myself right now. Linda has been a long time friend of mine. I am so glad I got to talk to her a couple of weeks ago. It was just like it always was, just like we were still in school together. She was such a lovely person. I am very thankful that she was a friend of mine. I also am very grateful that our daughters were friends to. As soon as I can I hope Becky and I will be able to come for a visit. I will keep you both in my prayers and please remember me in your prayers too. Love you. Alice Reaves

I'm very blessed to have had two moms in my life. Thank you for the diamonds, for patiently accepting the fact I burried them in the front yard in one of mom's jewelry boxes, for entertaining my weird fascination with turtles when I was a kid by getting me that little turtle figurine (with, yes, diamonds for the eyeballs), for taking Shawn and me around, for patiently enduring my strange little machines like the one made out of a toilet paper roll and lightbulb, for being firm in stating that I couldn't have your stay-puffed marshmellow man toy (but for not leaving me out by getting me my own), for giving me a nightlight when the moon wasn't bright enough to chase away the darkness, for being there for us, for loving us, for giving me my big sister, and for giving me my nephew. I'm sorry that I couldn't bring Marie and Will with me when I came back to see you, but I thank the Lord I was able to see you again, one more time before your graduation to Heaven. We love you.
