Malcolm Dixon Obituary

MALCOLM ALAN

DIXON SR.

Malcolm Alan Dixon Sr., of Carolina Beach, died April 8, 2013. He was born in Key West, Florida, on March 28, 1966. He is survived by his mother Anne Lane Dixon of Wilmington, and his three children, William Longeill, Amber Renee' Dixon and Malcolm Alan Dixon Jr. of Carolina Beach and one lovely granddaughter, Renee' Anne Whitaker, who will miss him so very much, especially planting a garden with him. He also leaves two brothers, Bobby and Pete along with his wife Angel, and their children Courtney and Alyssa of Wilmington. Plus many other family members and friends, far too many to list.

He shrimped most of his life and owned his own construction business. Malcolm loved to make people happy. He was very loving, and if you ever met him you never forgot him. He loved to have huge pig pickings and cookouts. His specialty was seafood, while surrounding himself with family and friends. He also loved skiing and hunting. He was a great person to be around and will be greatly missed by the family and friends.

The family will be having a pig picking to celebrate his life. People are welcome to bring a covered dish along with all of their lovely memories of him. We will provide the pig along with sides on Sunday, May 12th, at 12:00 noon, at 202 Rockledge Road, Wilmington, NC 28412.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory can be made to the children, at 202 Rockledge Road, Wilmington, NC 28412, in care of his mother Anne Dixon, who is battling cancer.
