THERESA GAIL BORDEAUX HARRIS Theresa Gail Bordeaux Harris, age 71 of Carolina Beach, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. She was born June 27, 1946 in Wilmington to the late Lloyd and Vera Bordeaux. Following graduation from New Hanover High School in 1964 she became a Hair Dresser and was owner of The Beauty Boutique at Carolina Beach. In 1987 she was forced to retire from the career and the many clients that she loved due to a stroke. She was able to continue one of her favorite hobbies though, which was playing Bingo at least two nights a week at the Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge where she made many friends through the years. The only thing she loved more than playing Bingo was her family, especially her husband Bill, who patiently took care of her following her stroke and the many years since. In addition to her husband of 52 years, William "Bill" Harris, Gail is survived by her son, William "Scott" Harris, his wife Christy and their two children, Grayson and Rylan Harris of Carolina Beach. Visitation will be at Carolina Beach Presbyterian Church at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 16, followed by a 2:00 pm service at the church officiated by Pastor Jonathon Bowling. A graveside service will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Carolina Beach Presbyterian Church, 1209 N. Lake Blvd., Carolina Beach, NC 28428.
