Cecil Lee Obituary

STATESBORO – Mr. Cecil Denton Lee, age 88, died at Eagle Health & Rehab Center after an extended illness on Friday, February 15, 2008. He was a native of Screven County and the son of the late Horace Denton Lee and Clara Hodges Lee. He lived many years in Augusta, Ga. where he was connected with the Textile Industry before moving to Statesboro in 1982. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Curtis Ave. Baptist Church in Augusta. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include one sister, Libby Pratt-Hutcherson of Statesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
Graveside services and burial will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the North Newington Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Max Hall officiating.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Hodges-Moore Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.

Cecil was a very nice man.I enjoyed working with him at statesboro nursing home.my prayers and sympothy goes out to his sister libby she loved him so much.
