Michael Albanese Obituary
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Deal Albanese; his stepchildren, Bridgette Hodges and Jacob Hodges; his mother and stepfather, Patricia and Ron McCormick, all of Statesboro; his father, Michal Joseph Albanese Sr. of Okinawa, Japan; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Austin and Miriam Deal of Statesboro; his brothers, Tony Albanese of Statesboro, David True of Minneapolis, Minn.; his sister, Cacinda Walker of Calhoun, Ga.; his grandson, Jace Hodges of Statesboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 3, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.

I was saddened to hear of Mike's passing. It seems now like a lifetime ago when we were all hanging out. He was a good man, that I've never forgotten. I pray that your memories of Mike will serve to replenish your spirit and strengthen your souls as you move forward in life without him.

In school Mike was always a friend to all and this carried over into adulthood. An old friend that will be missed by many.
