George,

I was so sad to hear about Buck. Such a beautiful young man. I was happy to read about the success he had in his life. You and Sue were wonderful parents. Addiction is something I guess we can never fully understand. I know you must feel comfort knowing that Buck is with his mother.

My prayers are with you and your family. I wish you peace.

“George Alvin”,

It is with extreme trepidation and a heavy heart that I write you this note tonight. For the second time in my life I am faced with the passing of a man that I considered a brother so for my own catharsis I am compelled to pen my thoughts.

From the bowels of my soul I want to say thank you. Thank you for your friendship, thank you for your companionship and most importantly thank you for your love. Knowing you and your family has made me a better man, husband and father and I can only hope that you left this earth knowing that I would have done anything to help you beat this Demon. Evermore I will question if I did do enough but that is my cross to bear. There is extreme comfort in knowing that you will no longer ache and that you have Sue, David, Grammy and many others to help with your assimilation into Heaven. I will miss your infectious smile, your goofy humor, your quick wit and most of all your presence. If I were faced with the choice of enduring this pain or not to have known you at all then unequivocally, I choose the former.

Rest now, send me a sign from time to time and know that I loved you completely.

Love ya bro!

I am so sad and shocked. Buck was a brother and I feel powerless and empty that I could'nt be more a part of his life. I will always be lucky to have Buck a part of my life and know his spirit is with me always.

We were saddened to hear about Dr. Finley. He is with Jesus now and no longer suffering. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Finley Family. We were priviledged to know Dr. Finley or "Buck" as he liked to be called. We enjoyed reminiscing about IWA and the time we spent there. His smile and friendliness will be remembered always by both his patients and those who worked with him. May God bless you.

I am truly saddened by the loss of my friend who was a good and caring person. When Buck came to practice in San Marcos he helped me through a very difficult time in my life as I was going through a divorce. Buck helped my children to understand the changes when I was "consumed" by it. He will indeed be missed by myself and my children. I know that heaven is a much better place with Buck there. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. May God bless you and help you through this trying time.

Our hearts are heavy with grief over the loss of our former employee & friend. Buck's kindness, compassion, & generosity especially touched our lives when we were suffering through a series of family illnesses. His thoughtful gestures will forever be engrained in our memories. Our prayers are with your family.

We were so sorry to hear about Buck. What a great loss for everyone. Now he is in heaven with the Lord and with Sue and has no more pain and no more worries. Buck was one of the kindest persons we have ever had the honor of knowing. He was beautiful on the outside and equally beautiful on the inside. Buck is the only son-in-law Jim and I have ever had, and what a priviledge that has been. Buck had no enemies, and everyone loved him. He had such a warmth and love for others that is impossible to describe. Jim, Paige, Jimmy, and I all feel that we were blessed that Buck came into our lives. We got to know him very well and truly loved him from the bottom of our hearts.

The Boller family will always feel a warmth towards the Finley family because of our relationship with Buck. I hope that his namesake will understand how fortunate he is to have his Uncle Buck's name.

We pray that God will wrap his arms around each one of you and give you strength, hope, guidance, and peace. Remember that people pass on, but their beautiful memories live on in our hearts. God Bless you. The Jim Boller Family

Buck will be missed greatly. It is shame that this vicious disease had to take such a special person away from us. Buck is in a better place now, close to his mother. I will always cherish the wonderful memories of our life together.
