Harold Ray Vogler

Harold Ray Vogler Harold Ray Vogler went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 10, 2008. He was born in Georgetown to Martin and Wanda Vogler on September 19, 1942. He graduated from Southwestern University with a B.S. in Education. He went on to get a Master's degree in Education from Prarie View A & M. His 38 year career in education teaching 6th grade Science included teaching in Georgetown, Taylor, Round Rock, and at St. Mary's in Taylor. He was a CHL instructor, an elder in his church, an avid hunter, and fisherman who loved playing with his grandchildren. Harold's preceded in death by his parents, a son Frank Martin Vogler, grandchild Kallie Vogler, and daughter-in-law Becky Vogler. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Zettie Sue Vogler; daughter, Lisa Sanchez and husband Chris of Cedar Creek; son, Frank Vogler and wife Julie of Marquand, MO; daughter, Luann Elliott and husband Matt of San Antonio. He is survived by his eight grandchildren, Cody and Sydney Wallace, Alex and Ryan Sanchez, Shelby and Clayton Vogler, Lauren and Luke Elliott. Visitation will be Friday July 11, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. The memorial service will be Saturday July 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church in Georgetown with a meal to follow at the church. The family would like to thank Hospice Austin, Bernie Clifford, Wathy Givens, Maria Martinez, Dr. Ben Netaji, and Dr. Laura Gilbey. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, The American Cancer Society, or Hospice Austin.
