Margaret was an incredible woman who inspired so many! She had an amazing servant's heart and always was concerned about others over herself. She has touched the lives of many foster children and loved them as if they were her own and spoke about how important they were to her. She is so incredibly missed and will never be forgotten.

With sincere sympathy to John and family. John and Margaret are two of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Margaret was an inspiration and greatly admired by myself and all staff and foster parents. The lives of many children will forever be blessed because of their time with Maragret and John. God Bless, rest in peace my friend.

My deepest sympathies to the Strong family. I will miss seeing Miss Margaret and her smiling friendly face. Having taught some of her foster children, I know she was a true blessing in their tiny lives. She will not be forgotten by so very many people.

I first met Margaret about 20 years ago in my role as a Social Worker with the Health Department- she had a foster child who had a lot of medical problems and my role was to help her however I could- I fell in love with her on my first visit- she was so open, so loving with the children and a delight to talk to. I was so pleased when, probably about 10 years later, I got a referral on another child in her home- it felt like going to visit an old friend. I am so sorry to hear of her death, but I know her family will take some comfort in all the wonderful memories of this remarkable woman.

I work at the foster care agency John and Margaret have been with for the last few years. Margaret was known as a spunky, sweet lady whom everyone adored. A few of us attended the service this morning, and it was wonderful to see all the lives Margaret had touched. She will be greatly missed by our staff and all the little lives who were blessed by having her as a foster mom.

God bless this women whose heart was much bigger than she. I saw her "wrassel" and even then you knew she was a good ethical women. Her love of children was beyond most folks and she made a difference in their world as well as ours. God bless her and her family.

I have had the honor of having Margaret be a foster mom to clients of mine since 8/07. She was a wonderful woman and my heart goes out to John and the rest of her family. She was an angel in life and is now an angel watching over all her family, blood and extended.

She nearly died last Christmas, yet when my clients needed her again she opened her home and heart. She attended every court hearing, brought the kids to visits , so we all became like family. I saw her last Friday 10/24 at a family vist and she was her ususal wonderful self:concerned only about the children.

God bless her family and they should be proud to have had such an angel as their wife, mom, grandma and sibling.

God Bless the Strong family at this time at the loss of their mom, sister, grandmother and friend to many. The world needs more people like her these days. I hope her memories can be of some consolation to the family in the days to come.

To the Strong family-my heart goes out to you as you adjust to life without Margarita. I have said a prayer for all of you. Obviously she was a wonderful person. I remember Margarita from high school. She was a few years ahead of me, but she came back one day to visit and I happened to be in one of the classes she visited. I have never forgotten her. Something about her stuck in my heart all these years. She touched my life. She told us about her career as a wressler. She was such a small woman that I remember thinking 'how on earth could she ever win a match'. I have learned that strength and quickness is what wins, not size. She encouraged us to finish high school and to be the best we could be at what ever we decided to do. As I read the story of her life I am touched deeply again.
In high school, in Seguin, I was known as Janice Woods. I go by Jan Stroh now. May God bless all of you with the wonderful memories of her.
Sincerely,
Jan Stroh

Margaret Strong was an amazing woman with a huge heart and spirit. I knew her from my days as a worker with Child Protective Services, where she so graciously served children as a foster parent. May the memories of this outstanding woman comfort her family and friend during this time of grieving. Respectfully, Belinda Hare
