MARIE C. "RE RE" (WEHRLE)
Of East Pittsburgh, age 80, on Saturday, July 17, 2004; wife of the late John A. Simon; mother of Donna Kost, of Wilkins Twp., Martin L., of CA, Joseph E. (wife, Lorraine), of CA, Amy Reynolds, of White Oak, Dennis (wife, Sue), of East Pittsburgh, Jonette Butler, of Harrisburg, Patrick (wife, Laura), of CA and the late Jonathan "Tinny" Simon; sister of Sally Nedz, of Moon Twp., John "Jack" Wehrle, of GA, the late Jean Minnaji and the late Fr. Joseph Wehrle; also survived by 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Marie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the East Pittsburgh VFW Post #5008. Friends may call Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Linden Avenue At Cable, East Pgh., (412-824-8800). Mass of Christian Burial in St. William Church of Holy Cross Parish on Friday at 10am.

Sorry to hear of ReRe's death. My brother Paul called last evening to tell me. ReRe was a very pretty, extroverted, fun cousin who I expecially remember up in Geneva-On-The-Lake in the 50's. My Aunt Catherine always asked about her when I visited each summer because they spent time together in N.Y. when my uncle played for the Yankees. My deepest sympathey to her family and Sally and Jack.
