Sissy ANDERSON Obituary
Sissy Anderson, age 80 entered Eternity on December 20,2014. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was dedicated to her family. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Carol MacLane and husband Bob, sons Jake Gilleland,Mike Gilleland and Gary Gilleland, sister Shirley Woodrick, and sister in law Denise Pinion. One of her greatest joys was being Grandma and GG to April Keller and husband Casey, Matt MacLane and wife Tara, Zoe Gilleland, Ty Keller, Kendall Keller and Morgan MacLane. Her church home was Hyde Park Baptist Church where she was an active member. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Hyde Park Baptist Park at 11 am. 3901 Speedway Austin Tx. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to Hospice Austin. 4107 Spicewood Springs Austin Tx 78759.

I briefly met Sissy in 1993 at Highlands Mall. Today I came across the business card which she gave me. I have looked for her card for several years because she was on my mind. With sad regrets, I am writing with condolences for her family. Sissy was a beautiful angel and I carry a special place in my heart from my path crossing hers. It was one of those special times when two souls connect and I shall always remember her generous offer to help me re-locate to Austin. Blessings to all of Sissy's special loved ones...

I learned only yesterday that my aunt passed away. She was the only aunt I knew growing up. She was grace and poise personified. Beauty and refinement. Elegance and style. She was my Aunt Sissy and I miss her immeasuably. My condolences to the rest of her family.

You and I were such good friends for a long, long, time. I cherish my memories of our good times together...even on a trip to Maui together, with Clark and Zoe. Being in the same Sunday school and Church, helping with Soles for Souls for children. We were roommates on a fun cruise to Mexico with our bridge friends......... I could go on and on. I will remember your beautiful face and lovely manners always. You were such A CLASSY LADY I am proud to have been friends with you. God continues blessing you still.
