Vija Traube Obituary
Vija Anita Traube Vija Anita Traube of Cedar Park, Texas passed away peacefully on May 9, 2007. Vija was born in 1941 in Vainode, Latvia to Alfred and Konstance. Vija moved to Monroe, Iowa when she was 9 years old. Vija attended high school in Marshalltown, Iowa. She graduated college from the University of Iowa. She married John Traube shortly after college. Vija worked as a teacher and later as a homemaker. Vija will be greatly missed by her husband of 40 years, John Traube, her sons, Eric and Scott, her brother Al and wife Janice, niece Kelly and nephew Doug, and daughter-in-law, Esme. Vija leaves behind numerous dear friends who meant a great deal to her. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas followed by a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Vija was truly a woman of grace and dignity whom always placed her family first. My condolences to this wonderful family for the great loss you are experiencing. May God Bless you and the wonderful memories and love for Vija keep you strong.
