Dola Sullens-Weathers Obituary
December 11, 1948 - February 16, 2012
KEIZER - Dola Weathers, 63, of Keizer Oregon passed away at home Thursday, February 16th surrounded by family and friends.
Dola is survived by her husband Roger Weathers; son Steve Gallant (wife Jennifer) of Salem Oregon; daughter Sheri Hunt (husband Brian) of Kalama Washington; stepdaughter Tammy Straw (husband Greg) of Albany Oregon; stepdaughter Kristie Weathers of Vancouver Washington; 8 grandchildren; sister Paula Dinsmore; sister Mary Schneider; and brother Jim Sullens all of Salem Oregon.
Dola is preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Kay Gallant; her father Cecil Sullens; and her mother Hazel Sullens.
Dola was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles; were she held various positions including President of the Auxiliary and the Aerie. In her free time she enjoyed sewing, making quilts for family and charities, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.
Services will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 28 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to OHSU Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Mail Code: UHN-62, 3181 SW Sam Jackson Park Road, Portland, Oregon 97239-3098 or to Odyssey Hospice at 707 13th Street SE, Suite 280, Attention: Terry Motte, Salem, Oregon 97301.

Roger and family, Dola, will be missed immensely. She was a very out-going and caring person who always had a good outlook on life and was always there for other's even when she was hurting.
