Oscar Ronald Evenson passed away on September 22, 2013, in Salem, Oregon. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar C. and Ruth B., and his brother, Bradley. He is survived by his wife, Vivian (Whaley); daughter, Patti Sessions (Greg); and granddaughter, Kayla—all of Salem, Oregon. He is also survived by his sisters Jeanette Willmert, Gloria Hess, Corrine Persson, and Irene (Reuben) Hundtofte. He has numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in Fosston, Minnesota, during the summer of 2014. A complete obituary can be found at www.anewtradition.com.
