He met and married Mary Olivia Perry who died in February, 1974. He remarried in 1984 to Mary Lela Calame. Glenn worked for General Motors as a security officer for 28 years and retired in 1989. After reading a story in the paper he thought he'd write one about his life growing up on Crowley's Ridge, MO. Dr. Frank Nickell of Southeast Missouri University was impressed with Glenn's memories and asked if he could write some more stories about that area. In 1977, SEMO published Glenn's book 'The House on Riddle Hill', a collection of memories from the 1930 & 1940's. Glenn started one his greatest adventures with multiple book signings. He was a sweet man that loved his family, new cars and friends.Services: Funeral Service 9 a.m., Friday, June 27 at HUTCHENS Mortuary, 675 Graham Rd., Florissant.
