McAtee, Jack Fitzgerald 1988-2014 Born in St. Louis, Missouri Died in the Colorado Wilderness near Breckenridge, Colorado Survived by: Ellen Christina McAtee and Stephen Robert McAtee (parents); Margaret Ann (Megan) Huntley (sister), Madelaine (Maddy) Christiana Baisch (sister), Katherine Martha McAtee (sister), Alexandra (Ali) Grace McAtee (sister); and Jason Huntley and Sam Baisch ( brothers-in-law). Jack Fitzgerald McAtee lived life to the extreme. A graduate of Lafayette High School class of 2007, Jack studied journalism at the University of Missouri before moving to Colorado. Jack was genuine, brilliant, hilarious, unique and so loving. He was one of the most selfless people, always giving even when he himself had very little. Jack's story hit the nerve of many, as over 70,000 have visited the website: www.findjackmcatee.com, where one can find the story of the McAtee family's thirteen month search for Jack. The family is asking anyone so inclined to make a donation to Living Water International - a 501 (c3) organization which was near and dear to Jack's heart - giving the gift of clean water well(s) to be built in Kenya in Jack's name.
