Jimmy and I were neighbors living in the Clinton-Peabody Housing Project in south St. Louis. We were preteen and teenagers. I believe in later joined the FBI. A nice, quiet guy.

Condolences from The Burke's to The Higgins family. Jimmy was a classmate and friend at SEAS and DHS. In addition to all the volunteer work he did, Mr. Higgins helped my dad coach some of our SEAS soccer teams. He was a great man and assured everyone quality playing time. I recall seeing Mr. Higgins many times in the last 20 years as he dutifully assisted at SEAS Mass. He always asked about my parents and my family. He truly cared about others and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. What a wonderful man!
