Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, December 5, 2022. For many years she was a familiar figure on the SLU campus. Dear daughter of the late Patrick and Adele Murphy; dear sister of Thomas and the late Virginia, Mary, Jack and Joseph Murphy; dear sister-in-law of Joyce Murphy; our dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend.
Services: Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Tuesday, December 13, 10 a.m. to St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 4-8 p.m.

I was sorry to hear of Pat's passing , For about 5 years I worked for Business Services at SLU, and I remember she was Fr. Reinert's secretary at the time. I would sometimes bring her mail to her, and "babysit" her desk while she took a course during the day. She was a very dedicated and hard worker. I always admired her. After I had a miscarriage she always remembered the anniversary of the date it happened. Very nice lady. My condolences to her family and friends,
