There will never be another Dr Robert Ray Knowles. Please accept my condolences. Being a resident from Missouri I just learned of the family's great loss. My thoughts and prayers go with all of you. May you have a blessed and Greatful Thanksgiving.

Ray was a dear friend, a compassionate psychiatrist, and a family man. He had a heart of gold and shared his knowledge, stories, and love with those who took time to listen. He is a great loss, not only to his family and friends but to the Mental Health field. God bless and be with all of his family at this time. May you find peace in knowing others care and are keeping you in our prayers.

Dr Knowles was my first BOSS with the Dept of Mental Health back in 1968-70 as Dir of Special Education of the Childrens Unit..I always had a Great Amount of Respect for this kind and intelligent person.
