Elvira Ross, age 73 and a resident of Pass Christian, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Ross was born July 1930 in Celle, Germany, and after her marriage to Gerald Ross, resided in North Carolina and Newport News, VA. She was a resident of Mississippi for the past 14 years. Mr. and Mrs. Ross were married 54 years, and she was a loving mother and devoted wife, and will be greatly missed by her family.
Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Elfriede Gasch. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Jerry Ross, of Waveland; Clark Ross, of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Linda Forbes, of Newport News, VA; brothers, Bert Gasch and Herman Gasch, of LaCrosse, WI; Hubert Gasch and Bruno Gasch, of Celle, Germany; a sister, Marie Louise Barnes, of Orlando, FL; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis on Saturday, June 5, 2004, from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 7, in the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
