Gulfport
Louise Harrison Holcomb,72, known as "Weese" to many, died Sunday, July 17, 2016 in Gulfport.
Weese was a member of First United Methodist Church of Gulfport, Gulfport Yacht Club, Revelers of Gulfport, Junior Auxiliary of Gulfport and Gulfport Women's Club. She loved horseback riding and boating. She was a graduate of Gulfport High School and attended MSCW in Columbus, MS.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, "Bill" William Thomas Holcomb; parents, Byron Patton "Pat" Harrison, Jr., and Mary Louise Dorroh Harrison; sisters, Patricia Harrison Webb and Mary Ann Warren.
She is survived by her loving children, William Myles Holcomb and Ruthie H. (Albert) McMullen, and her grandchildren, John Harrison Doucet, Dawson Thomas Doucet, William "Myles" Holcomb, Jr.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Gulfport where friends may visit from 9:30 am until service time. Inurnment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Southern Mississippi Funeral Services.
In lieu of flowers, Louise would prefer contributions be made to the Human Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Avenue, Gulfport, Mississippi 39501.

I am so sorry to hear of our sweet Aunt Louise's passing. I know it was a blessing and am grateful that she is no longer in pain. Our memories will always keep her with us. She was our "fun" aunt, always willing to take us to the Yacht Club when we visited, always willing to stay up late! We love her and will miss her.
