Norman Daniel Baumann, Jr. was born in Irvington, NJ on December 19, 1940. He passed away peacefully in his home in Biloxi, MS on Friday, March 16, 2018.

Norman served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He joined employment at JP Morgan in New York City where he would serve faithfully for 34 years before retiring. He would later retire to Beverly Hills, FL and live a full and active life. Norman was a member of the Beverly Hills Fishing Club and Knights of Columbus. In November of 2015, he relocated to Biloxi, MS to be with his loving family. Norman's hobbies and passions included traveling, gambling, bowling and playing softball. He was an avid stamp collector as well.

Well into Norman's diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, he chose to be 1 of 5 participants in a clinical trial at the University of Florida – Neuroscience Studies for movement disorders. This study that he gave of himself so freely would allow (DBS) technology advancements to be made for future generations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace "Gigi" Baumann and Norman Baumann, Sr.

Norman's survivors include his children, Jeffrey (Maria) Baumann, Diane Baumann (Art) Lauer and Sharon Baumann (Brian) Brenizer; his siblings, Billy Baumann, Daniel Baumann and Mary Ellen Bigos; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Norman's wish was that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to the South MS Humane Society or to the University of Florida Movement Disorders Program.

Funeral Services will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 5:00 pm. Friends may visit from 4:00 pm until service time. Interment at Biloxi National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
