Randy Shoemaker Obituary
Mr. Shoemaker was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Biloxi, where he was the assistant choir director. He bowled with the Gulf Coast Alley Cats, was a member of the Gulf Coast Western Variety Square Dancers and was a six year former employee of Winn Dixie. Mr. Shoemaker participated in the Special Olympics and his favorite pastimes were watching wrestling and the Dallas Cowboys. He was their number one fan.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tony R. and Mary Jane Shoemaker and Wilson L. and Rose A. Wieck.
Survivors include his parents, Burton Shoemaker and Patricia J. Wieck Shoemaker, brother, Matthew A. (Dodie L.) Shoemaker and his special nephew and Godson, Matthew A. Shoemaker, Jr., all of D'Iberville.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., with an 11 a.m. chapel service, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the Crippled Childrens Clinic, C/O Shriners Hospital for Children, 6977 Main Street, Houston, TX., 77030-3701.

Mr. and Mrs. Shoemaker and family,
I was sorry to hear about Randy's passing. As a parent who lost her child, I know you will never stop missing him, but in time you will take comfort in knowing that he is with our Lord and Savior. Randy was truly a wondeful man and former co-worker. God Bless you all.

Mr. & Mrs. Shoemaker I was really blessed to have know Randy. I considered him to be a good friend.We went to Physical Therapy together.He was a special friend to me.He called me Mrs. Jerry.He is in Heaven with his new age wings and not having any more pain.

Pat,Burton,Matthew Dodie and Matthew Jr, and the entire Shoemaker family, I was so very sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I never saw him without a smile on his face. He endured more than anyone human should have to in his short lifetime. He's in a much better place now and won't have to suffer any longer. We have been very blessed to have known Randy. He was truly a blessing and a very sweet person. He always was so positive and trusted the Lord and was a great encouragement. He always made you smile.
