Bernard D. Hawkinson

HAWKINSON Hawkinson, Bernard D., 66, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away May 1, 2002. Mr. Hawkinson was a retired corrections officer for the Broward Sheriff's Office. He was a long-time resident of this area coming from Duluth, MN. He is survived by his wife, Bertha E. of Ft. Lauderdale; son, Kevin Dean Hawkinson of Springfield, VA; daughters, Theresa Owens of Malabar, FL and Susan Zalanka of Coral Springs, FL; son, Kyle Bernard Hawkinson of Lake Worth, FL; and seven grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Megan, Mathew, Eduardo, Dylan and Heath. Also survived by a brother, Elmer Hawkinson of Arizona and a sister, Roxie Listrud of Nevada; a niece, Starr Hanson; and a grandnephew, Lon Hanson. Private funeral services will be held.
