Brother,

I miss you so much! I thought it would get easier after a year but, IT HASN'T!! I know you want me to be happy and I am, it's just really hard not being able to call you when ever I want or walk next door to get your opinion on the guy I'm dating. We threw a party on your 1 year anniversary (your new birthday). We danced, laughed, sang and drank a few for you. I miss talking to you, I miss you telling me what the hottest new things are. Scotty, so much has happened since you've been gone. It's been a really crappy year. Juli was shot and thank God she's still here with us! She really helps me through the really hard and down times. Ryan was brutally taken away from us and our sweet Sylvia has gone to be with you too. I really hope you are showing them the ropes. I'm sure you and Sylvia are dancing all over the clouds and Ryan is probably making jokes to keep every one on their toes. Every time I pass by your apartment, I think of you and all of the good times and smiles you've given to me and all of the people you loved. I miss being your neighbor and sitting on the couch having a cocktail to wind our day down. Scotty, this past year I have realized how many people you have touched in your life, it's truly amazing. You have left impressions on more people than I could have EVER fathomed. I just wanted you to know how many people sincerely loved and cared for you. More than you know. I love you and miss the hell out of you!!!

To the first boy I ever fell in love with. You taught me so much about you, love, and life. My thoughts and memories of you and us are endless. You took me from highschool to prom to college. We had some great, exciting, sad, and loving memories together. I will never forget you and the three years we spent together. What you taught me in our time together will last a lifetime. You will be greatly missed and will always be in the depths of my heart and soul.

Scotty...No matter what...I knew you would show up, call, write...something straight out of the blue...there you would be...all smiles,laughter...joy, with crazy stories, big hugs for me and the kids, a million questions about the family, who did what, you know...just us being friends and family!!!! Damn Scotty...we did not even know you took the high road to the party in the sky with the "Big Guy"! It breaks my heart to think that I will never hear you call me Mom...see you "High Five Yourself"...Watch you and Lloyd laugh...hear you give the kids your demented perspective on life(big smile)...Life will be so much less colorful without you...But Oh My...Heaven will be so much sweeter! God must have needed an Entertainment Coordinator"!!! Just one of the best Angels has arrived in Heaven...You let them know...I mentioned that in my prayers...Scotty we love you, miss you madly...Your memory will live strong in our hearts...I will always love you more!!!

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Pennel,

I was shocked to hear of Scott's passing and I want you to know that you are in my prayers. I only knew Scott that one year at St. Andrew's but I always remember his wonderful sense of humor. He and Kevin were quite a pair.

God bless you

Scott was a dear friend to me. We met in 4th grade and were friends ever since. I remember jamming out with him in the garage of his parent’s house. Scott was on guitar and me on drums. Man we were good. There are so many other great memories we had. I can never forget those times. I hadn’t seen Scott in the last few years of his life. I guess we kind of took different paths. I always hoped we could meet again to catch up on old times. I believe we will meet again in a better place far from here. Scott, I love you man and will miss you dearly. My best wishes to his friends and family.

I will miss you Scott. It pains me to know that you found new meaning in life, yet never got the chance to share it with us. I will take solace in the fact you indeed did figure it out in the end, and thats more peace than I have in my life most of the time. Gosh... You influenced so many things as far as culture here in South Florida, when I was in 7th grade heading for high-school. The music, the dress, the huge sound systems - you had many great passions that influenced many people, and I don't know if anyone ever told you that, or admitted it. But, you will always be the Beatles of Pop/high-school culture here in south Florida. I will sadly miss you, and most of all, I will always remember the great times we had as kids. See you in 45 years or so (if all goes well)

Brother Scotty P,
May God be with you and give you peace in your new journey of life. I will forever be missing a very large piece of my heart. My heart is deeply hurting every
minute of every day without you. Though, I do
have great comfort knowing you are resting in
the most perfect place on this earth, Heaven. You will always be my big brother and more than that, my icon. Your tremendous heart and bright smile will be my strength to carry on. They will both give me light to keep me bound for the rest of my life. I promise to carry that with me and relay it on to all that you loved and cared for. Thank you for making me feel like a Queen and thank you for giving me someone to look up to in all my years of life. You are the coolest, EVER! Bro., you have truly blessed my existence and I will forever keep that in my heart until we meet again, dude. So, pick up that 12 string and keep playin' those sweet tunes.....you ARE a true rock star!!!!! I LOVE YOU with all of my heart and soul. Party on with the Angels, dude!!! I’ll meet you there, my loving brother!
Your lil’ “twin” sis’....
