My Grandfather was one of a kind - amazing business man, overly generious to all in need and not in need - didnt show much emotion outward always a rock but he felt deeply and loved with all that he had. He taught me so many things and did so much for me and my family - would sneek in the window when I was a kid to see if we had food then go shopping personally fill up the fridge and vanish it was just the kind of man he was - just like 2x's a year he would buy us new clothes for school to help build our self esteem so the other kids wouldnt make fun of us, and the culture he and Cookie exposed us to - it was out of this world. I dont think I will ever come by another great man besides my Uncle Sean and Angelo. GP you were loved and are missed

I met Joe over 40 yrs ago in the northeast and we met again in 1988 when he met me and gave me the order for the FaUlkenberg Rd. Jail in Tampa. God Bless you all.

Dear Mrs. Anastasi & Family,
I would like to extend my deepest sympathy at this sad time. Over the years I have listened to many stories from my father about Mr. Anastasi & PMC told with humor, respect and admiration. He meant a great deal to my father and his influences will never be forgotten. Florida is a much prettier place because of Pompano Masonry. My thoughts are with you all.

Although I don't personaly know you or your remaining family, I did know Joe as a business associate and a real asset to the masonry industry. His contributions to his chosen profession were considerable. I am proud to have been associated with Joe Anastasi.

Dear Cookie and Family,
I would like to extend my deepest condolences for your loss. Joe was a great man who not only touched so many lives, but also enlightened, taught, and encouraged an entire industry with his greatness. What a tremendous legacy to leave, but also, what a wonderful example he was for those who were lucky enough to have known him. The stories that have been passed down of the man, the legacy, will be passed to my daughter, and so on, as we scan the Miami skyline, look with pride and know that Joe gave us all an opportunity to share in history.

I always looked forward to our dinner meetings and hearing his stories. He lived life to the fullest, setting an example for all of us to do the same. Dear Cookie & Daughters,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Although I only met Joe one time, my family will always remember him for his kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity. On a visit to you at the shore(the only time I met him) we spoke about my adult grandson's stroke that left him blind. Joe disappeared for a while and he came back with a "talking watch" for my grandson. How can anyone forget such a wonderful gesture. It truly demonstrates what kind of gentleman he was.
