Michael, Adam, and Katherine - I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your grandfather. Losing loved ones is never easy, but when it is someone with the vivacity and joy of Michael (OG) it is especially hard. I will always think of him at Christmas.

I will always remember Uncle Mike when we used to go the house in Long Beach. Visits to Florida when we would all get together with my Pop too. The Pig Roasts in our backyard when we would sing along to Uncle Mike's accordion. Uncle Mike and I both loved singing and and acting and I hope his angel is watching down as I put up my production of Guys and Dolls jr. this spring. I know he would love it! I will always miss him.

Michael and Corey
I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He was a big part of the reason I loved Christmas. When it was time to sing, Mikayla and I loved it. I must say the last Christmas we were all together, I felt very teary eyed when we all sang. I thought what will we do without Mike. I loved his smile, his stories and his kindness. He was so special to me and the kids. We are all so sorry he's gone. We will miss him. My love and heart go out to you all. Valerie Belsky

I remember Mike always smiling, laughing and singing. We had a great time with him and Aunt Mimi one Thanksgiving when we first moved to FL. They cooked a big turkey and everything to go with it for us. My mom was visiting too. He drove my girls around in the golf cart which they loved! It was a nice day and we were warmly welcomed! Rest in peace.

Oh Uncle Mike, who will lead us in every holiday song ever written on Christmas? Who will regale us with stories of being a fireman in the Bronx? You were nothing if not entertaining! I shall miss you enormously. You are a part of every family memory I have. My vocabulary is peppered with words I'm pretty sure you made up: "Skinny Balink" (as in: you lost too much weight, you look like a skinny balink). Or, "Chickybabe", which could be anybody under the age of 10. You always addressed me as "Beauty" when we would greet each other and you made me feel better about myself. I'm sure there are many people who feel as I do. Your spirit carries on, Uncle Mike; you will never be forgotten...

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
