Mr. Fritz , Ms. Fritz and family: I want you to know how we at the Center will miss Sam's smile and joy for life. He was truly a very special man. He was brave and relentless and fought until the end. He was very blessed by having you as his parents. He also knew it and loved you with all his heart. May God give you strength, solace in the memories he left you and peace knowing you were there for him always.

r Arthur, Cleaette, and Emma, There are no words to describe how sorry ALL OF US are for the loss of Sam. He was loved by so many friends. He was so lucky to have such a supportive and loving family during these difficult 7 years, he was always so grateful to have you all by his side. He was always happy in front of his friends even during the most difficult times. So many wonderful memories of you , Sam throughout my life, flat tire on our way prom, our parties with Alex and Smurf and our friends, watching the moon from my 280ZX, Grad night,to seeing each other at reunions . He loved his friends and we all loved him back......I will remember us dancing like fools this past June at the reunion at Geronimo's... so much fun and no one was even paying attention to us...best memory EVER! You were one of a kind and always so full of energy!
You are now with so many of our friends that we have lost over the years, I know they are with you and you are no longer in pain. May your memory last forever in our hearts...I know you will always be in my heart..until we meet again.....

I am so sorry that I can not make Sam's celebration of life ceremony on Sunday, November 17th. I am unfortunately out of town working. I did donate money to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society In Sam's name, his honor. Sam's life is definitely worth celebrating!!! It kills me to miss this celebration in his honor. He was one of a kind. He is and will be loved and cared about forever by a lot of us. Life will honestly not be the same without Sam Fritz in it. :0) I loved and cared about him a lot. We went to high school together but got to know each better after high school. He was always so full of life and so fun to be around. All of his friends love him dearly. He was part of a family of friends from all over. But especially us from South Plantation High School. To his family I am so very sorry you had to go through all of this. And I am very sorry for your loss. If there is anything myself or anyone can do for you please, reach out to us. Sam was not only a friend, but he was like family to a lot of people. His family is our family. Thinking of you, wishing I could be there with everyone. Love Always and Forever, Alexis Kent

Sam was a friend to me when others wouldn't. I was a bit of a nerd/dork when I attended south plantation high. I used to envy the juniors and seniors who drove a car to school. One day, walking home to my house in Plantation Harbor, the red Honda pulled up and a voice said "Hey Seth, get in the car". I knew then this was a man with a big heart. He loved to surf and take on the outdoors. Even in his final stages of cancer, he was able to smile. I will always respect and look up to you Sam Fritz! I'll see you in the next life.

I came late in getting to know Sam, but when I did, I was immediately blown away with his passion. His enthusiasm, friendliness, energy, and his willingness to extend his hand to help made me realize I was in the presence of a truly nice person. I'm sure I wasn't alone.
