I remember Leo Good mostly because of Tracy, Andre & Sam as they called her, he also lived somewhat in the same neighborhood as I did. Hannibal Johnson and I used to MC the
Mr. Ebony Scholarship Contest at Northside High School and Leo Good would be one of the Judges from the Community. He was always fair when Judging and his willingness to take the time to participate says a lot.
I know that he is truly missed.

Prayers for Andre, Greg and Samantha. Grew up with the family and loved being over there even when we made Leo mad Amazing he could lower his voice any lower but he would totally get our attention and respect. He was a great dad and man and will be missed. Know he is with God.

Leo was one of the finest men I have known in my lifetime. He was someone who I admired and looked up to, even though we were close in age. Leo’s wit, and great sense of humor, could light up the room. I got to see Leo play high level softball, and you knew what a great athlete he must have been in high school. The greatest legacy Leo will leave, is his beautiful family, which I had the pleasure to meet thru the years.

I worked with Leo for over 25 years at Dixie Cup, he was a great guy that could make anyone laugh. I still laugh at some of his old stories, they were unforgettable. Leo was easy to get along with and talk to, always smiling and in a good mood. Still like his Branding Iron story, makes you smile every time you think of it. To Leo's family "Trust in the Lord. He is always by your side to help you get through your loss.

This is a difficult time and it still doesn't seem real. I'm so glad God chose you to be my father.

You were my confidant, my friend and my rock whenever I needed you and I thank you so much. I'm going to miss our daily talks, laughs and your words of wisdom.

I'm leaning on God as you would want me to do to help me get through this, but know I miss and love you so so much.

This isn't good bye...rest well Papi until we meet again
