Jewel Willis Obituary
Jewel Willis, of Tallahassee, beloved daughter of John and Jeanette Willis, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011.
She is survived by her mother, her sister Janis Sheppard, and her brother Sam Willis.
Jewel was a faithful member of Lifepoint Church, and was known and loved for her kindness and amazing cooking. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, her many friends, and by all those who have been touched by her love and generosity.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at Northwoods Baptist Church on Capital Circle NW, Tallahassee, followed by a committal service at Lake Ellen Baptist Church in Medart, Florida. Bevis Funeral Home(850.385.2193 or www.bevisfh.com) is handling arrangements.

Sam and Family:
My thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this time of saddness. Jewell was a very special person in my life in high school and our adult life. When I would hear she was sick, I would call; she would share and after the call ended you would know that her heart was with Jesus even in the bad times of life. What a testimony! I know she is in heaven now, sitting at Jesus' feet or serving others. We all will miss her.

Jewel, will always have a special memory in my heart. I work with her at Department of Labor for many years and enjoyed her turkey dressing, she was very special friend. My heart goes out to the family. I will keep you all in my prayers. God Bless.

Sam, I didn't know about Jewel until today. She was such a giving and loving person. I know she will be missed here but welcomed by many on the other side. My thoughts and prayers are with you and family.
