I would like to tell each & everyone of you that have showed your admiration and love to our family, how greatly appreciated you are. We are a very blessed family because of the values that our parents instilled in each of us. We miss our daddy more than words can express. But we know that he is eternally with our Heavenly Father and that makes giving him up much easier. Everyone paid such a wonderful tribute to daddy and his family and I just wanted everyone to know that not a card, call, thought or prayer went unnoticed. We truly love each of you for loving our Daddy. Thank you all for everything you have done for all of us. Our love is with you all. Linda and family of Mitchell T. McKenzie

We have lost a good man.....

He was a good son, a supportive brother, a hard worker, a brave soldier, a loving and faithful husband, a wise and loving father, grandfather, and greatgrandfather, a deacon, an elder, and a minister for the Church of Christ, a good friend, hospitable to strangers, willing to share whatever he had and always to share his love of Jesus Christ and the Church.

Almost thirty-eight years ago, he and Kathryn allowed me to steal their first daughter, and accepted me as another son, when I needed adoption.

I want everyone to know that "Mack" will live on in our hearts and memories, and will continue to help family and friends over the hard spots in our lives. May God help us to do so as well.

We have lost a good man....

But he waits there for us to come home.

Dear McKenzie family,

I hope you will remember us. My husband, Mike White, and I were members of the old Call St. church which is where we knew you. I was so sad to see that bro. McKenzie had passed away and wanted you all to know it. We are now in Tampa where Mike is an elder at the Temple Terrace church. We have 2 children, a son, 35 and a daughter, 34, and 4 grands. Again, we extend our deepest sympathy. You were all a special family, devoted to the Lord and to each other. Kathie, I recall teaching you in the 1st Bible class I ever taught. I am quite sure I did an awful job, but you were okay with it. Many years have gone by--about 40 or so, but the memories of old friends remain so fond. May God bless you all as you grieve for this fine man. It is a comfort to know he is in a better place than we are. Fondly, Ann Dawson White

Dear family,

Over the last 20 years we have grown to love all of you dearly. Bro. Mack was always a ray of sunshine and a spark of life whenever we had the privilege of being with him. His kindness and love for others never ceased and his Christian spirit was ever present for all to see and learn from and his optimism was contagious. May you all gain peace and comfort in the memories you will forever cherish - we certainly will cherish his love and friendship toward us!

We love you!

I didn't know Mack McKenzie, but I know his daughter Sandra, who works with me and she is a special person. I've heard her speak of her father often and what a great man he was. My heart goes out to all his large family.

Seeing "Daddy Mac" in church always made me and my wife Janice smile and our lives are better having known him. Mac and his wife (Kathy) have also touched my 10 year old son Nick, who mentions them both with reverence. We will miss him.
