Carrie LEWIS Obituary
formerly of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Martin Health Center in Stuart, FL. A retired school teacher with the Pinellas County School Board. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 15, 11 am, at Mt. Calvary SDA Church, 4902 North 40th Street, Tampa, FL. Visitation at 10 am on Sunday before service time.

To the Lewis family Im so sorry for your loss. She was an exceptional teacher who taught me a lot my 5th thru 8th grade years. She did so much for me not only as a student but as a person. I will always love and cherish her memory. She is one of the reasons Im an educator today.

I remember Sis Lewis as a teen in St. Pete at Elim SDA Church. She was always doing things with young people. She was our choir leader (voices & piano). Any keyboard around was her playground & she could make them sound so good that everyone was in awe at her playing!! . She was someone that loved people & had a no-nonsense personality; very patient though. She was a sharp dresser and made most of her & her family clothes. She will certainly be remembered by me & my family (The Belchers). Our love & condolences are with you all (Earl, Tony, Milton & Yolanda).
