Charles CHRISTIE Obituary
85, died Nov. 1, 2017. Born June 16, 1932, Detroit, MI. Husband of Marlene Christie; son of Elizabeth Witherspoon of Kilsyth Scotland and John Christie of Hamilton Ontario. Father of Julie Hudson, Stephen Christie, Melanie Kelb and Scott Christie. Charles was a member of the United States Marine Corps, serving as Radar Communication Specialist. He served as Junior Warden and Sunday School Superintendent at his Church. He also worked on many outreach projects serving the community. Charles was a hard working devoted family man and an asset to the community. He is survived by his sister, Janet Christie; seven grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Memorial service to be held Saturday Nov. 11, 2017 1:00 pm, St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 2301 Deltona Blvd, Spring Hill, 34606. Ashes to be interred in Trenton, MI.

Dad, I feel so blessed we had the drive down to the Keys and we could share time together talking in the back seat sharing our memories. You will be greatly missed. Thanks so much for all your love, care and support. Indian Guides, making Pine Wood Derby cars, you always being there after swim practice and long drives to countless swim meets,your patience and sound advice have meant so much more than I could express my appreciation for.
I know you are at peace and with your loved ones. God bless and keep you. We miss you!

Thanks Dad for your love, leadership, friendship and support throughout the years. I will miss you, as will so many others you have touched through the years.
