Jenny Wells

WELLS, Jenny , 43, of Avon Park, died Monday morning, March 17, 2014, at her home. A native of Florida, having lived in many cities including Ft. Meyers, she had lived here since 2004 moving from Ft. Worth, TX where she had lived for 8 years. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Avon Park, where she served as the church Missions Coordinator and worked with the youth. She was a member of the Florida Baptist Disaster Relief Ministry as a Blue Scrambles Hat. She also was a cub scout leader, worked with the Avon Elementary School PTO and was a substitute teacher. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Troy Wells, Avon Park; two children, Tori and Caleb; three brothers, Kenneth, Steven and William Towler; two sisters, Tracey Padgett and Vivian Brown; and many family members and friends. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Avon Park, with Cary Robinson, College Minister, officiating with Pastor Mike Roberts, Rev. Robert Thorn, and Pastor Mike Reed participating in the service. Graveside services will follow at Bougainvillea Cemetery with Pastor Bill Cole officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Florida Baptist Disaster Relief and Florida Baptist Children's Home. Arrangements with Fountain Funeral Home.
