John Cooper Obituary

COOPER, John Avner, 84 of Brandon, entered into rest October 15, 2004. He was a World War II Navy veteran and retired from Smith Corona Marchant. He was a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church, Brandon Masonic Lodge No. 114, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, Egypt Temple Shrine and Brandon Shrine Club. He was also a member of the Historical and Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania, and a life member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, DAV, and VFW. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Lillie Knox Allen and Sidney Mitchell Cooper. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Millicent McNally Cooper; daughter, Patricia A. Cooper; son, John Michael Cooper; adopted son, Clarence Glover, all of Brandon; many nieces, nephews and friends. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital or LifePath Hospice in his memory. STOWERS-BRANDON
