Parvathi - we miss you

Parvathi was my college mate in Mount Carmel College Bangalore from 1973 1976 when we were doing our Bachelor's degree. We were a group of 5 girls and we spent all our time together. I still remember, when she first went to the US in 1975 probably, she brought gifts back for all of us. I attended her wedding also to Prithvi.
Although we lost contact for many years, when we finally reconnected, it felt just like old times. In spite of her illness, Parvathi was always cheerful and positive and said that she was so lucky to have Prithvi beside her, who took care of her so well.
My Husband and I were lucky to have had the chance to visit Parvathi and Prithvi at their Las Vegas home in July 2015. She was so cheerful and in high spirits. It was wonderful to spend time with an old friend.
She was a simple woman with very strong values and religious beliefs. I know Prithvi will always have the pain of losing Parvathi and we will miss her forever. Hope Prithvi, Preetham and Gopi find consolation that she is nearer to God now and I hope they find the strength to cope with this terrible loss.

Dr Prithviraj and Family, I wish to express my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. I will never forget how she sincerely cared for others. The picture you posted is just the way I remember her. Loved that smile of hers. No matter how sick patients were, she always tried to make them smile. She will be missed by many. Love to all, Lillian Graves (Patient of Dr. and Mrs. Prithviraj)

Dear Dr. Prithviraj I met your wife when you were caring for my grandmother, Alice Warnke in your Sandusky office. Such a kind uplifting person . She was so good to my grandmother as were you. My heart just dropped when I seen her obituary in the paper today. Please except my condolences to you and your family. My thoughts are with you as well as my prayers.

I met Parvathi only few times in Ohio, yet I would never forget her smiling face and her welcoming gesture to almost everybody that she met. Seems like nice people are closer to God . She left many missing her. We understand that she is in a better place now. My condolences to Panju and his son.

Mrs.Parvathi Prithviraj touched peoples' lives in a way in which only she can. She was like a surrogate mother to my daughter and nurtured her in more ways than one. When there was a wedding in the family she not only invited my daughter but also her parents( us) who were visiting. She was warm, generous , loving and caring , It was a privilege and honour to know her and interact with her.May her soul rest in peace. We will miss her smiling , energetic presence.
