Ronald REESE Obituary

REESE, Ronald Cuthbert "Ron," 80, Tampa, son of Cuthbert and Hazel Reese, passed away on April 10, 2015. Ron was born in Tampa and graduated from Hills-borough High School, class of 1950. Upon graduation from HHS, he enlisted in the US Army. That was the beginning of his 26-year law enforce-ment career. After his three-year stint with the military police in Germany, he re-turned home and graduated from the University of Tampa. While in college he married Sue Warner and that union produced two daughters, Laura Florer and Leslee Sue Reese. His law enforcement career resumed in the U.S. Border Patrol, El Paso, TX, and then by transfer to Kansas City, MO, and Atlanta, GA, with the Office of Inspector General, USDA, where he retired as Regional Inspec-tor General of the South-east region. Ron is survived by his daughters Laura and Leslee; four granddaugh-ters, Lauren Gibson, Suzanne Flowers (Dillion), and Ashley and Rebecca Wilson; also by his brother, Jim Reese; and sister, Jeannie DeGain (Donald). A memorial service, con-ducted by the Reverend Charles E. Connelly, will take place at 10 a.m. Mon-day, April 20, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 906 S. Orleans Ave., Tampa, FL, 33606. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church.
