I met Bob as a 7th grade basketball player for Kelso in the mid 50's. What a competitor and great guy! We would see each other off and on and swap stories during our highschool days. We played on a semi-pro baseball team a couple of summers during our college days, but we lost track of each other after that. Bob was definitely a "cut above" the average guy during our generation and I feel a great loss in hearing of his passing.
