April 18, 2012

To Those Whom I Love And Those Who Love Me
Now When I am gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do
You must not tie yourself to me with tears
Be happy that I have had so many years
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness
I thank you for the love each have shown
But now it is time I travelled on alone
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
It is only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories in your heart
I will not be far away, for life goes on
So if you need me, call and I will come
Though you cannot see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear
All of my love around you soft and clear Then, when you must come this way alone
I will greet you with a smile and welcome you home.
David, I hope these words express my condolences. Love Cyndy Toney

I am one of the original class that started out at Gen Rufus Putnam Elementary and graduated together in 1964. Not many people today can say they spent 12 years in school together. Carol and I were good friends, and I immediately went to my pictures and pulled out a bunch of us together over the years. Oh, how we laughed until we cried at her house on Singletary Ave and during our weekends at the Cape. Anyone interested in copies of the pictures, please feel free to contact me, Sheila Duggan, 3106 W Paris St, Tampa, FL 33614, or by email at [email protected]. Carol will not be forgotten!

Hello, David,
We've not met, but have spoken on the phone. Carol was one of about 15 kids in the first grade at General Rufus Putnam School on the hill in Sutton in 1952. ...a 2 grade school. We learned to read and play and argue with each other and traveled through the school years together.
I have had a little communication with her over the years and welcomed every bit of it. Carol was a special friend whose great smile will always be part of my life!
Please let Nancy know that I sent her best wishes, too.

David,Steven, & Gary,
"A mother is the truest friend we have; When
trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us;When
adversity takes the place of prosperity; When friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us;When trouble thickens around us,still will she cling to us,and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts."
May your sweet mom rest in Peace!!! Prayers & thoughts to all of you, including your very nice, dad. Always remember that love never dies!!! Your mom is with you every second of everyday. May God be with you all!!!
