Dear Nancy- I somehow missed news of Dick's passing in the Globe last month, as I surely would have wished to be amongst the many who remembered his life, friendship and service to others at the Levine Chapel ceremony. Although I did not know him well, I always found him to be a source of humor and humanity on those few occasions when we talked about his life from 1945 to the present.

And now, for yourself, remember to stay close to friends and admirers, who send their love and support to aid in the days ahead.

With love and affection always,

Dixon Bain

Dear Nancy: I worked for Dr. Louis Wolff and Richard in the early 50's for many years and never have I met nicer bosses or professionals. I was so impressed with their knowledge and compassion I stayed in the medical field for over 50 years. My deepest sympathy to you and the children, I will never forget Richard and his kindness.

Dear Alice,
I'm so sorry to read about your Dad. I remember spending lots of time at your home as a child, and what a lovely man your father was. I know you have wonderful memories to help you through this time.
