Ronald Dupuis Obituary

Ronald J. Dupuis, 69 of Grafton and formerly of Worcester, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at home.

He leaves his wife, Norma L. (Jackson) Dupuis; five children, Rhonda L. DeLaRosa and her husband Anthony of Winchendon, Roland J. Dupuis and his wife Karen of Worcester, Ronald J. Dupuis and his wife Susan of Southbridge, Robert J. Dupuis and his fiancée Amy of Worcester, and Renee Fazio and her husband Thomas of New Bedford; his twenty beloved grandchildren, Mark, Melissa, Mateo, Anthony, and Danielle, Jacob and Kyle, Joshua and Ronald Jr., Robert II, Alexandra, Kirsten, Reyse, Ashleigh, Amanda, Madison, Nicholas, Sydney, Bianca and Nathan; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Mia, Connor and Mitchell; his only brother, Richard Dupuis and his wife Peggy of Millbury; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Ronald was born in Worcester in 1940. He was the son of Albert and Eva (Blouin) Dupuis. During the war in Vietnam, he served in the U.S. Army.

Ron was a truck driver for more than 40 years. After retiring last year he devoted all his time to his grandchildren. His passions were photography, the Native American culture, fishing and reading.

Calling hours will be at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, on Tuesday May 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Labre Indian School for Children, P.O. Box 216, Ashland, MT 59003-9989. Burial will be private at the Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, where Ronald will be laid to rest in the Garden of Faith.
