William Leo Penny 78

Worcester - William (Bill) Leo Penny, 78, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday September 9th under hospice care after his brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving family; four sons and five granddaughters, Bill Payne, his wife Vaida and daughter Alexa in New York, Bill Penny, his wife Keely Bethel-Penny and their daughters Olivia and Amelia in Massachusetts, Matthew Penny and his fiancé Amy Seltzer in Florida and Richard Penny, his fiancé Crystal Bennett and their daughters Samantha and Evie; his former wife Arleen (Thibodeau) Penny; his three brothers Samuel, Joseph, and David and many beloved nephews and nieces. Bill was predeceased by five brothers; Walter, Francis, Frederick, Robert, and Vincent.

In lieu of a memorial service, Bill wishes to spend eternity at Tivnan Field with his beloved mentor coach John Tivnan (at Lake Park) where he will continue to play the immortal game of baseball with his brothers, friends and legends of the sport he loved.
