Cassandra Ann Holman Shannon was born to the late Mose Holman and Mary Chambers Holman in Logan County, KY on June 25, 1969. She departed this life on Monday, January 2, 2017 at home.
She professed hope in Christ at an early age at Keysburg Missionary Baptist Church. She was a high school graduate of Logan County High.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and also a devoted stepmother and grandmother. She worked in the Health Care field for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Shannon and brother, Robert Holman.
She leaves to mourn her passing, children, Lelia Williams of Franklin, KY, Tatrick Shannon, Tychina Shannon of Springfield, TN; stepchildren, Deffrail Shannon, Joshua Terry, Jessica Shannon of Bowling Green, KY, Anthony Shannon, Bennie Bowing of Nashville, TN; nineteen step-grandchildren; brothers, Mose Holman of Clarksville, TN; Terry Holman, Phillip Holman, Marvin (Patricia) Holman of Springfield, TN; sisters, Tammy Holman of Clarksville, TN and Sharon Holman of Springfield, TN; aunts and uncles, Rebecca Atkins of Springfield, TN, Sarah Ligon of Guthrie, KY, Dorothy (Bobby) Bowers of Clarksville, TN, Ann Young of Springfield, TN, Frances (James) Hubbard of Springfield, TN, Robert (Sandra) Chambers of Springfield, TN, Josephine (Billy) Bigbee of Russellville, KY and Francis Holman of
Russellville, KY, Bernice Holman of Kileen, TX and Elizabeth Chambers of Coopertown, TN; great-aunt, Ollie Kimborough; a host of nieces, nephews, two great-nieces, Makiya Dickerson and Trinity Chatman, two great-nephews, Traesean Dowlen and Zayne Dowlen; cousins, other relatives and friends. Devoted friends are Nicole Patterson, Lakeesha Dickerson, Corenthus "Pookie" Cantrell, Donald Robertson and Larry Bertha.
Funeral was Monday, Jan. 9, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at W. D, Crowder Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Ligon, Eulogy; Interment was in Restlawn Memorial Garden.
