Douglas Gould Obituary
Douglas spent 36 wonderful years with his wife and love of his life, Nancy. He was blessed with and proud of his three beautiful daughters, Mandi, Jami and Jeni, his sons-in-law Eric and Justin and his grandson's Ryan, Andrew and Maxwell, the sunshine of his life.
Douglas is mourned by his mother and step father Clatys and Roy, his father Robert, brother and sisters-in-law John and Judy, Tim and Barb. He is equally missed by his other parents Harold, Mary Lou and Wanda, brothers and sisters-in-law Ron, Randy, Mark, Mike and Kelly and numerous other family and friends.
Doug was preceded in death by his youngest brother Toby.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday April 27th, 2014 from 3pm to 5pm at his brother's home, John Gould, 1351 Manzana, Eugene 97404.
In lieu of gifts, his family requests that donations be made to either helping and rescuing animals or the American Cancer Society.

Nancy My heart goes out to you and all those who were ever graced by Dougs warmth. I grew up with him, I worked with him ,traveled many miles with him, shared rooms with him, to me he was like a brother, a fellow worker, a companion of thousands of miles, but most of all Doug was my friend. Dear Clatys, Bob, John, Tim, Roy & Nancy, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Doug. He was a wonderful person and being in his orbit was a gift. He made working in the fields rock and could always make me laugh, even when I didnt want to. My love and prayers to you all.

Ah, what a loss. I'll always remember our summers of slowpitch softball. Wonderful characters on the team. No one could hit the ball quite like Doug. Though I'd not seen him in years, Doug will always be remembered fondly. Our condolences to Clatys, Bob, and families.

My heartfelt condolences to Doug's loved ones. I enjoyed going to his ball games and I competed with Tim and even coached John in wrestling when he was but a sixth grader at River Road. And I even picked a few beans for Bob & Clatys. Doug lives on in my memory.

I just heard the sad news today. It has been nearly twenty years since Doug and I had our "ugly vs. bald" debates. I am sad that we will never have another round of those. I know that he will be missed

My deepest sympathies for your loss. I am sure Doug was a fine man,as growing up near by the Gould family they were always well liked and I still remember the sadness everyone felt when Toby passed away. It is never easy losing a loved one, my thoughts are with you.

Who could forget early mornings in the Gould bean field? Bob and Clatys, I'm so sorry for your loss. Doug's smile was alway infectious. Nancy, our hearts go out to you and your girls, we were so saddened to hear of Doug's illness and death. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I'm sorry for the lost of Doug. My prayers go out to the entire family. I remember Doug as a wonderful young man when I lived with his family in the mid '60. We shared many great times together and even though I moved away and didn't have further contact with him, I know he had an impact on those he had around him.
