A+See me. That was at the top of every essay test I took with him my senior year. Mr. Yates had firmly held personal beliefsbut he did not let that interfere with his mission to develop us to think for ourselves. I intentionally (and he knew it, I'm sure) made arguments from another perspective most of the time. While he always wanted to ensure I understood his view on the subject, he NEVER penalized me for a differing opinion, as long as it was supportable. What an amazing legacy, and a good lesson for the world today! RESPECT.

I just learned of Jim's passing.my heart goes out to his family and my thoughts and prayers are with them. My grandmother brought us to radnor back in the 90's and jim always made us feel welcomed.It will be a great loss to the radnor community.

Jim was a friend & colleague at David Lipscomb Campus School in the 1980s. He & Faye were marvelous Christian examples.
