"She hath done what she could..." Mark 14:8a was Aunt Jimmie's favorite verse; she was a model of one who truly did whatever she could regardless of her situation. Words can never express her loss, but praise and thanksgiving can be given for the Christ like life she always lived.

We did not meet Miss Jimmie until just a few years ago. We found her to be such an inspiration to us and to others who meet her. We wonder who will fill the shoes of such a gracious and loving person. We express our deepest sympathy to all the family and it is our hope that your current sadness at her loss will with time be changed to pleasant memories.

Love,

Sweet Grandma. She nurtured the very best qualities in each of us. Grandma shared her music and tenderness; she instilled confidence and decorum; she exemplified humility and faith. My dear Grandma - she made us better with her love.

My "Aunt Jimmie" was the most incredible woman, I have so many memories of visiting with her! She always had a glass of tea and something to offer to eat! Her conversations were always inspiring, and her love of the Lord was second to none. She will be sorely missed by so many!

Jimmie's friendship was a blessing to us. Many wonderful memories of her Faith, her Humor, her Assertiveness, her Talents and her Love.
We think she and Mamie Elise are happy to be together playing Skip Bo with the other Saints in Heaven. Our love and prayers, Calvin and Carol Young

Though our hearts are saddened, it is a most wonderful time for my Aunt Jimmie, who lived life as Christ prescribed it. She was such a spirited individual and will be greatly missed.

In the short time I knew Miss Jimmie, she became one of the dearest friends on earth to me. She was an inspiration and example of a Christian lady to me and all who knew her. I shall be eternally grateful the Lord allowed me to love her and spend precious time with her. I shall always treasure those special times. Miss Jimmie will be miss greatly, but I know she is now at rest with the Lord and that gives me peace.
