Linda Redner Obituary
She was a graduate of Thomas A. Edison High School. Linda married her husband, Albert L. Redner, on June 2, 1962, and they recently celebrated their 53rd Wedding Anniversary. She was the Executive Assistant to the President for Bond Paper, Wire Works and Avant. She was involved in several organizations, including the Big Flats Community Center, Community Service organizer, the Red Cross and the Big Flats Women's Club.
Linda was pre-deceased by her brother, Bruce Miller; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe Cook, Paul Ellsworth, Fred Redner, Arlene Harris.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Albert L. Redner; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Julia Redner of Horsheads, NY; twin sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Jamie Redner of Binghamton, NY, Dan and Kerri Redner of Norwich, CT; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Sandy Cook of Elmira Heights, NY; brother, David Miller of Elmira Heights, NY; sisters-in-law, Shirley Ellsworth of Attica, NY, Shirley Redner of Elmira, NY, Cathy Miller of Jeckyl Island, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME, 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 1-3 PM. Linda's Funeral Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 3PM with the Pastor Michael Spencer Officiating. Linda's Committal Services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 12:30PM at Rural Home Cemetery in Big Flats, NY 14814. A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 1:30PM at the Big Flats Community Center, 476 Maple Street Big Flats, NY 14814. In Lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Linda through memorials to the Big Flats Community Center, 476 Maple Street Big Flats, NY 14814 or to the SPCA 2435 State Route 352, Elmira, NY 14903.

she was the best great grandma ever, I will miss her, she did a lot with me and she did a lot for me, she was there when I needed her and she will guide me and make me want to do good things in my life. Al, Teresa just told me of Linda passing.
I am so sorry hearing this news as for you and all those that Linda's life tough as she was such a special lady and her life has toughed mine as well. Though the community center and all those wonderful trips together. I have a wonderful picture that I will find of the two of you enjoying one of those trips. Linda will be greatly missed by so many. Al, I am so sorry for the aches you will be going though. Please know I am praying for you and I know Linda is in the lords hands and he will help you get through this. Bless you and all those people that Linda's life touch. They are blessed to of had that opportunity to of having the chance to have such a wonderful person touched their lives.
