Michael White Obituary
Mike was born in Hyde, Maryland, August 30, 1953, the son of Milton G. and Dorothy B White.
He attended McDonough School and graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University 1977 with a degree in Dairy Science. He married Theresa Marie Ohler in 1979.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy, his wife Theresa, and four children and their spouses: Adrianna White Delamater (Geoffrey Delamater) of Hyde Maryland, Albert Elijah White (Melissa White) of Cockeysville, Maryland, Alexander B. White (Lisa Bescript White) of Bonaire, Georgia, and Marlaina White of Addison NY, and eight grandchildren: Addison, Nolan, Alec, Avril, Westley, Cabela, Maximus and Winston. He is predeceased by twin daughters, Elizabeth and Renee, and his father, Milton G. White.
After working on the family dairy farm In Hyde, MD, Mike and Theresa moved to a dairy farm in Addison where they have resided since 1980.
Mike enjoyed fishing and loved every bit of nature's beauty. His interests ranged from rocks and minerals, and geography to old farm equipment and implements. He was especially interested trees and wildlife preservation.
In 1986 he opened Uncle Mike's Deer Farm, where children could pet the deer and go for hayrides which they dearly loved.
Mike worked for 7 years at Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. until his retirement.
He was a member of the Addison Town Board.
Memorial Donations: In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Addison Ambulance Corps and the Addison Public Library.
Family and friends are invited to call at St. Catherine's of Siena Church, 51 Maple Street, Addison, NY on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm and again Saturday, January 14 from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow calling hours at 3:00 PM.
