Todd Landry Obituary
DELCAMBRE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Todd Louis Landry age 53, at 11:00 am Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Interment will be held at Migues Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm on Friday with a Rosary at 6:30 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Saturday until service time.
A native of Delcambre and resident of Lafayette, Todd passed away at 12:08 am on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at his residence.
Todd's career was in the mortgage banking industry, and he was currently employed as a senior loan officer with SWBC Mortgage Corporation. He was an affiliate member and active participant of the Realtor Association of Acadiana.
Todd was an introspective, unassuming man who touched many lives throughout his work and life. He was an avid outdoorsman, and he hunted as often as he was afforded the opportunity. Those who knew him best knew him to be very kind and generous, never finding fault with anyone. His family knows he had a special place in his heart for his daughter and mother. His family takes comfort knowing that Todd is now at peace with his dear father, and his beloved pal, Champ.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Landry of Abbeville; his mother, Verly Bourque Landry of Delcambre; his siblings, Cynthia LeBlanc of Delcambre; Adelaide "Del" Currier of Gonzales; Scott P. Landry and wife Nina of Erath; Chris J. Landry of Lafayette; Bridget L. Touchet and husband Greg of Delcambre and Ross J. Landry and wife Christine of Youngsville; very special family friends, Tammy Stutes and Meredith Stutes of Abbeville; three godchildren, Noah Touchet, Whitney Landry and Luke Baudoin and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elton "Buck" Landry and one brother in law, Dennis LeBlanc.
Pallbearers will be Scott P. Landry, Chris J. Landry, Ross J. Landry, Greg Touchet, Noah Touchet and Whitney Landry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Kelly and Matthew Landry.

I am still very much in shock that you left us so suddenly and so soon. I was so looking forward to having you over to our new house, especially since you played an instrumental part in us buying it. Blake and I are so grateful that we had you to guide us through the process and we will never forget your words of wisdom. You left me with only happy memories from my childhood through adulthood and it breaks my heart that you won't be here to see me get married. Please watch over us and pray for us. Today we said goodbye and laid my beloved brother to rest next to our Daddy. It was rainy nasty weather, just as it was was when we laid Daddy to rest. We joked that Todd must have special ordered this weather so as to leave us in the same Daddy did and to bring back memories of that day. So many friends and family. So many tears and so much outpouring of love from all. It warmed our hearts to know so many love Todd as much as we do. Goodbye sweet brother. I hold you in my heart always and will hug you again one day

I had not been around Todd in a very long time, but I know that Charles thought the world of him. After reading the other entries, it certainly warmed my heart and I know it must warm the hearts of all of the Landry family. Although this will not take away your pain, please know that Todd must have fulfilled God's plan for him here on earth and now he needs him in heaven. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers.

My heart is saddened to know that Todd is no longer with us on this Earth. I had the pleasure of working with Todd at Wilimington Finance in 2005 & 2006 and we tried to stay in touch these past years. Todd was always a joy to talk with on the phone, and always has something funny to share. He was a kind and generous person and I will miss him. My heart goes out to his family for their loss.

Please accept our sincere condolences for the Landry family. Today, when I think of Todd, my heart warms with thoughts of his radiant smile. Todd Landry spent his days giving, for he never met a stranger, he was a friend to all. He was one of the kindest men that I have ever known. What I appreciate most about Todd was respect, he respected others, especially those who were of his senior, I will always remember the respect that he had for my parents, O.J. and Marcelia Bourque.
Todd, today we remember how genuinely kind you were, how much you loved your daughter Stephanie, your mother Verly and all of your siblings. Family was of the utmost importance to Todd Landry, he always knew that his family came first. Todd spent his days sharing his heart soul with many, and with that said, we are all a bit more blessed that Todd shared a piece of his heart with us.
